Girls Road Trip 2013! Disney World Adult Style!

If you know anything about me you know I have never gone away sans kids or hubby.. Brian and I have done one overnight trip when Burke was little and that's it.. This opportunity came about and I jumped on board! I'm so excited to be at Disney with Mom as she sends Kaitlin off on her 7 month adventure working for Disney! It's weird being here without them , but super cool too.. Do miss my boys!!

Field Trip!

Monday, Burke's class went on their first driving field trip, so basically every parent was also there. This was the best I could do on pictures.  They went to the duck pond, had a scavenger hunt, snack, played parachute and fed the ducks.  It's so fun to watch the kids interact.  I was shocked to learn that most of the kids are younger siblings and only two are the oldest child, who happen to be Burke and his best buddy Connor.  I think the kids really enjoyed it and I thought it was nice to visit with the other moms.  These are the days that I LOVE my job :) 

Campbell enjoyed it too!! He was able to come on this trip and since he thinks he's 3 too it was perfect! He was able to play with the friends and chase the geese :) I'm  having a hard time with the fact that Burke only has one year before kindergarten!!

After the field trip, we came back to the house and Burke helped me work. It slowed the process but was super cute :). Pool season is almost here!

Seems he knows us pretty well.. Although food is slightly off.. I kinda hate spaghetti and Brian is NOT a sandwich fan.. But I enjoy seeing what he thinks :)

A day in the life.

pretty much we have nothing going on,  but why not share some pictures?  Wednesdays Burke has preschool so gets a ride down to the club with a buddy.  It works perfect, carpooling begins early!  But we've quickly learned to have lunch ready for him.  He's GRUMPY when he's hungry and he's ALWAYS hungry after school.  We feed the kids at MMO, so we order him something to go.  This particular day they had pizza and salad.  There was lots of leftover salad (mainly lettuce) so he got it with his PBJ.  He loves salad, but it cracks me up that he ate almost the whole thing of lettuce.  

Today was the first day in 4 days that we've had sunshine.  He headed out for a little sun and sand.  He's just working on his tan.. ;)

Brian wanted to venture out to Target tonight.  Campbell found Pirate Booty on clearance and decided he was getting it.... Blurry but still a cutie.. and yes he's in PJs :)

My iPhone pictures stink and I missed a few things but this gives you an idea! Katie and Andrew don't know what they are having but are doing a navy blue nursery so we ran with it! :)

Daddy finally came back home!! Burke was super excited he brought "blasters" with him!!

Saturday was free comic book day, so Daddy took Burke to get his very first comic book! I think Daddy was more excited than Burke :)

We headed out for dinner and frosty parrot! If you aren't a Bburg native, think Sweet Frog but locally owned :) we prefer local! And the ice cream is better!

Burke NEVER likes to craft! Ever! Sunday morning he decided all on his own to color a picture.. I was so impressed and he was do proud! He has slept with it and taken it to school to show his teacher and friends.

Burke had his best buddy Connor over Monday afternoon.. They had so much fun together!

Campbell did too :)

I also helped plan and throw a baby shower this weekend.. I'll post those pictures later :)
