HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMPBELL!!

I'm so sad I haven't blogged in ages, but life is crazy and it's the last thing I want to do at the end of the day.  BUT today is Campbell's birthday and I don't want to forget anything :) yesterday we celebrated with all of our family and friends.  We had a Mickey Mouse party.  Today was low key and we had dinner and cake with Ashley, Chad and Emery.  It was a GREAT day

At 12 months (YIKES!!),

- you are 20lbs 11 oz (30%) and 30 inches long (50%), wear size 3 diapers and 12 months clothes (a few 6-12, mostly 12-18)
-you are crawling everywhere and have been since 8 months!  you love to stand up on your own and dance now
-took your first steps on November 13 but not done much since :) you also gave away your pacifier this day
- you can now say mama, dada, ball, doh (dog), hi, ba (banana), pple (apple), mo (more)
- you can sign "more" and "please"
-we celebrated your first birthday with a HUGE mickey mouse party.. It was amazing :)
- you love music and always find the beat.. when the wiggles come on, you crawl over so fast to watch
- balls are your favorite toys
- you LOVE food more than anything :) Bananas are by far your favorite.. you would do anything for one :) you will eat almost anything but vegetables
- you LOVE your brother and anything he is up to!!

Now that is April and I haven't blogged in months, I should start again! I need to update my Campbell posts.. At this point he is 4 months old!!! 13 lbs 6 oz (10%) and 25 3/4 in (50%).

He's a happy little guy! He can smile, laugh, roll both ways (but doesn't much) and not sleep :) he's a great little boy! He was sleeping great up until a month ago then he stopped.. Maybe he gave it up for lint? I'll post more when I am not exhausted :)

Goals for 2012

Goals for 2012:

1 - Get back into shape...
2 - Run a 5k each month :)  (prepare for half marathon January 2013)
3 - Spend more time with my boys doing "fun" family stuff :)
4 - Save money to buy a new house!
5 - Don't stress if I don't get everything done at once.. Pace myself and take a deep breath :)

Campbell smiled for the first time today.. ALL on FULL HUGE smile! Eyes and all :)  Wanted to document it so I don't forget!

Top 10 for 2011

I WILL catch up with posts!!  Things have been a little busy since Campbell came home.. (well... and before)..  But now that we are getting into routine, hopefully I'll have a little more time :)


2011 brought some great memories and some sad moments.. The loss of my Uncle David in August and very unexpected loss of my grandmother in November were very hard times for our family.  But I'm grateful to have two guardian angels watching over our family now! 

But for now.. I wanted to post my top 10 in 2011!!

10 -January Trip to Disney World with my parents :)

9 - Celebrated Burke's second birthday with a Cars pool party and friends!  Watching Burke grow has been an amazing experience!

8- Watching Burke interact with the characters at Disney World.. His pure excitement and joy with meeting Buzz and Woody (mommy might have cried a little :) )

7- Visiting family (multiple times!)

6- Visiting with Brian's brothers.. With one in the military and one living in California.. It was SOOO nice for all of them to be together!

5- Nights at home with my boys... Family time!

4- Burke's first Christmas that he really understood and was excited to open presents.. Making memories..

3- We ran our first half marathon (at Disney of course!)!!  Looking forward to 2013 Disney Half!

2- Second trip to Disney.. Last vacation as a family of 3! BEST trip ever :)

1- CAMPBELL DAVID!  Another boy :)  Born November 26, 2011
