Disney World Day 2

So I already missed a day!!  I'm not too good at this :)

Anyway, Sunday morning we woke up pretty early and met the family for breakfast in the hotel (Wildness Lodge) at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

You could order pretty much whatever you would want for breakfast.  They have an "all you care to eat" skillet, which worked great for us (especially with a baby).. It had Mickey Mouse waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage (burke's new favorite), biscuits and gravy... Since we were on the dining plan, you could get two drinks (weird i know), so I order a smoothie and bottle of water... I got the water thinking I would take it to the parks.. This is what came :)

The smoothie was yummy and the water was good, just not exactly conducive for taking to the park... :)

We then headed to Epcot, where we spent the day.. It was the last day of the International Flower and Garden Show, which none of us had ever seen, so it was pretty cool.  They had TONS of different flowers all around the world, but this was by far my favorite:

I LOVE Lion King and Brian has this thing where he lifts Burke up and sings the Circle of Life, so I thought this was fitting :)

The first thing we did when we got there, was run to Soarin' to get fast passes... If you don't know what fast passes are, they basically make it so you come back later and go to the front of the line.. SMARTEST idea ever!!  Plus, we were able to do rider swap b/c Burke wasn't big enough to ride, so when we came back, some people got to ride twice!  After getting fast passes, we made our way around the world. Actually, we only made it halfway before it was time to stop and feed Burke some lunch (and Brian).. so where did we end up? America.. seriously?!?  Burgers, chicken and fries..  After lunch, we ran back over to Soarin' to enjoy that ride.  It is one of my favorites!

After Soarin', The Seas with Nemo (a ride through the aquarium) and the Figment Ride, we headed back to the hotel for a little relaxing before dinner...

We headed over to Hollywood Studios (formerly known as MGM studios) for dinner.  It was raining when we got there, so no pictures.. We had to run to the back of the park to Mama Melrose for dinner, where we had to wait forever to get a table (even though we had reservations) and the food was definitely not as good as we remembered, but that's okay!  We then rode Tower of Terror twice (kid swap rocks!!) and headed back to the hotel for bed!

Day Two a success!  To be continued....
